I went back and read the thread from the beginning, amazing what that can do for clarity sometimes.
If i understand his perspective, which i think is based on facts or the lack thereof in this case, i agree with GM wholeheartedly.
There was never enough information posted about the drivers in question, far too much left to assumption/supposition to base any kind of value on.
"If" they're a simple marriage of unaltered "stock" parts/assemblies, then it'd be safe to assume valuation based on that. But, that's not stated or evidenced anywhere that i could find.
"If" the frames and/or motor assemblies have been machined in any way, it may render them irreversibly altered and unable to any longer assume their original function which could de-value them significantly.
Just my .02 of course.........................
